This 'question' on RTE's Questions and Answers is from Michael O'Brien, a victim of clerical abuse. It's truly remarkable.
I heard it repeated on the radio yesterday and assumed it was a piece of theatre. It's incredibly articulate and it's patent truth serves as a perfect counterpoint to the mealy-mouthed maundering of some in the Catholic Church.
Sadly this is not theatre. It's a real life tragedy being played out in Ireland. Shakespeare scholar Bernard Beckerman's generic definition of theatre, however, never seemed more apt.

I applaud Michael oBriens courage to speak out about his dreadful experiences at the hands of evil men who were meant to protect him. It is time that the perpertraters are brought to justice for these heinous crimes against innocents. we have spent millions on Tribunals chasing Financial wrongdoers and seem oblivious to the sheer terror that Clerics[ who were trusted to CARE for these poor defenceless Children]inflicted upon them. The poor guy has clearly suffered.
Thing is, I'd have more sympathy for him if he didn't look quite so much like John fecking Reid.
