- put soup in microwave
- set timer
- press start
- walk away
- not come back
Leave me to:
- remove soup
- put my soup in
- take it out
- allow much time to pass
- return; notice that:
The soup is still there, slightly warm with coating forming over the top but, crucially, uneaten. Unclaimed, unwanted, not fit for purpose.
Who would do it? Did they forget or just go off the idea of soup as lunch? We may never know.
