Subject: RE : Blasphemy Bill
Dear Mr Musters,
Didn't I explain this to you before?
This kind of Orwellian doublethink does you no credit at all and I urge you to desist in it.
The intention of the Blasphemy Act, as I've already told you, is not in order to stop your child from saying the word 'God'. There, I said it and it categorically was not blasphemous. Is that clear Musters?
Blasphemy is the offence of speaking matter related to God, Jesus Christ, the Bible or the Book of Common Prayer, intended to wound the feelings of mankind or to excite contempt and hatred against the Church by law established, or to promote immorality. The scurrilous, deriding or intemperate expression of dissent or criticism of God or a state's official religion.
Your poor son's innocent use of the word God does not 'trouble the starter' wrt the above definition. Do you see that you simpering nincompoop?
Please keep the boy out the cow field. Dress him in appropriate attire and clean the gutters yourself. Or pay a proper man to do it for you.
Regards,
Dermot
